At a recent awards show in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone went on to win the most coveted Woman of the Year Award.
However, she wasn't present as she is busy shooting for 'XXX' with Vin Diesel. So, her alleged beau Ranveer Singh did the honors.
After grabbing the trophy, Ranveer in his quirky style decided to put on a womanly act saying, "Wow! Woman of the year!" This was enough for the audience to laugh out loud.
He continued soberly, "To be honest, woman of the year - I am really, really, really proud of her. She is a lovely girl. She is so grounded in spite of experiencing staggering success. And she is..." Few giggles cut him short and he stated, "It's not funny." This triggered more laughter!
