Now, impressed with Chandrababu's ambitious plans for constructing a world class capital, an old lady named Muppavarapu Swarajyam from Thakkellapadu village in Guntur district donated Rs. 1 crore towards Amaravati construction.
An elderly woman today made the highest individual donation so far to the construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati.
The woman, Muppavarapu Swarajyamma, a native of Neerukonda, in Mangalagiri mandal today called on chief minister Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada camp office and handed over the check of Rs one crore.
