Why Water is Important to Human Life?





The human body contains  approximately 50-75% of water.

As human body can't store water,so we need supplies every day to balance for loses from the lungs,skin, urine etc.

The quantity of water intake mainly depends on our body size,the food we eat, metabolism, the weather and the our activity levels.

Body water content higher in men than women.

Most of the adults lose 2.5-3.0 litres of water on daily basis.

Water loss may increase in hot weather and prolonged exercise.

IMPORTANCE OF WATER:

1.Water hydrates the body by acting as lubricant to the joints,and protects eyes,brain,spinal cord.

2.It also protects digestive system by eliminating waste products and prevents constipation.

3.Moisturizes the skin to maintain its appearance.

4.Regulate the body temperature.

5.Reduce the cystitis by removing/clearing bacteria from bladder.

6.Carrying oxygen to the cells.

7.Act as good absorber to the foetus during pregnancy.
